Who Are We?

 At The Wild Place, we believe that ALL children deserve the right to unadulterated free play. We trust their instinctive curiosity, we believe that free play is the antidote to stress, and it is our responsibility to provide the space and opportunities for them to revel in their childhood.

 We know too many children who lack the opportunity to experience their childhoods to the fullest extent. We see the stress that racism, academic push-down, and individual circumstances causes and we want to provide a solution. We believe in the power of play.

 Play Equity means that ALL children, regardless of their circumstances, should have the same opportunities for messy, wild, autonomous, and joyful play.
